The ex chair of Hemsworth Town Council and proven liar, Jim Kenyon is going all out to try to convince the residents of this community of the validity of their financial and other transactions since taking office in 2019 by utilising the report from King’s Accountants.
We have heard about his ambushing of another Councillors post on social media to promote the non forensic audit report that was conducted against council instruction, following promotion of it by himself and the Town Clerk, Alan Draper in the meeting itself and their actual selection of the accountant also.
They even said it would be better than the Frenkel audit undertaken to investigate Kenyon’s lies of financial mismanagement into the previous council.
They even claimed it would be cheaper!
This has proven to be yet another lie to this community.
Most of us expected just what would happen by the failure to conduct a Forensic audit and it did just that by not looking at the real issues involved and at the proper depth of investigation required.
Kenyon’s self-praise and promoting of the unasked for worthless King’s accountants report, has now been posted on the Hemsworth Hub Facebook site complete with his usual rants and attempts to belittle and besmirch other councillors’ and people.
He makes no mention, yet again that this accounting report was his own choice along with the decision to appoint the selected accountants who were not even forensically trained to do the investigation required and that was approved by the council.
Hemsworth Hub is the Facebook site run by the owner of Shane and Nancy’s none “charity” help the needy, who is ex Councillor Shane Folletti, who was “knighted” by Jim Kenyon in a shambolic publicity attempt.
He later then stood as a “genuine Independent”
Readers may recall that the only memorable “vote” taken during the short duration as a Hemsworth Town Councillor by Shane Folletti, was his abstention from voting that allowed Jean Eccles to voted as the Chair of Hemsworth Council.
Jim Kenyon then was allowed to use his second and casting vote as the outgoing chair of the council to ensure her election.
In doing so, it ensured the Independent cabal remained in control of Hemsworth Town Council.
Shane Folletti has also claimed his help the needy was a proper Charity organisation and this has been proven to be false.
He has also failed to produce any accounts for any of the years involved to demonstrate how the sizeable donations have been used or spent that his non charity organisation have received from this community.
They have received over £1,000 from Hemsworth Town Council since 2019 alone.
It will probably come as no surprise to hear that Folletti’s Hemsworth Hub have allowed the post by Kenyon containing the lies to remain and they have also NOT allowed any comments to be posted in reply.

Armour that is well and truly tarnished and his true colours are now flying high.
