Ferret thought that as we have a new and entitled Chair of Hemsworth Town Council and as Christmas is coming, it would be appropriate to give a brief résumé  of just a few of the highlights or lowlights of their time in public office in line with the Ferret tradition.
These are anything but fully inclusive or exhaustive.

On the eleventh day of Eccles’Mess...

There’s nothing like a good character reference and unfortunately for Jean Eccles this is not one.

Ferret is sure people will remember the personal rubbish and carpet removal service offered by Hemsworth Town Council but there was a secret condition to qualify for its use.

Yes you’ve got it, you had to be a cabal councillor member, live at Kinsley and be called Eccles.

Provided totally free, a door to tip service.

Well when Ferret says free, free for the Eccles, paid for by us, again of course!

Would you expect the Chair of a Town Council to recommend illegal services? Well perhaps these days in Hemsworth you would and you would not be wrong.

Jean Eccles publicly recommended one on Facebook so it came as no surprise when Ferret revealed that the Eccles were once again breaking the law when the accounts for one of their companies were posted by the Governments Companies House as being overdue.

What was the matter Jean, haven’t you learnt how to turn the laptop on we bought you, if you still have it of course?
