Ferret thought that as we have a new and entitled Chair of Hemsworth Town Council and as Christmas is coming, it would be appropriate to give a brief résumé of just a few of the highlights or lowlights of their time in public office in line with the Ferret tradition.

Democracy, civility and respect are all alien concepts to not only Jean Eccles but all the Councillors associated with their cabal group.
Declarations of interests have been ignored or partly paid lip service to and decisions made with them being in the room.
Intimidation, well if all else fails fall back on the tried and trusted ways and use plain intimidation even on councillors to try to get their way.
As well as lying and shouting abuse it would seem that the Eccles are “experts” with land encroachment, from land on the entry to the Waterpark to the land at the farmers site, other peoples land is seemingly at risk...
