Ferret has been contacted by a member of our Township regarding a boundary fence which Independent Hemsworth Town Council removed without any consultation from between Hemsworth Miners Welfare FC’s top football pitches and the former allotments site on Club Terrace.
The removal of this fence obviously caused Health and Safety issues for the young people and opened up hazards on the former allotments site.
After Independent Hemsworth Town Council had removed the fence, Alan Draper, Clerk Independent Hemsworth Town Council and Mr Jim Kenyon, Chair Independent Hemsworth Town Council attended a site meeting.
At that meeting Mr Kenyon stated that it was safe as he was a QUALIFIED BUILDINGS INSPECTOR.
Following further discussions Independent Hemsworth Town Council agreed to reinstate the fence, yet have to date failed to complete this.
Ferret would like to know how much it has cost us, the Precept payers in staff hours to remove and partially reinstate then fence and also why was this actioned in the first place?
Further to this we now have another qualification to add to Mr Jim Kenyon’s ever growing list:

Jk needs to inspect his own building, the weight of all those certificates in his Loft is going to cause some damage.
Mind you it’ll keep HTC employees busy when he needs repairs doing. How fortunate for the fully qualified liar.

What was the purpose and reason in taking the fence down? Those allotments have been derelict and abandoned for years. There are old and dangerous buildings and sheds and fences in there all posing a danger to kids the fence was doing a job from preventing them getting in there. Obviously there’s some sinister reason behind its removal

Is the fella actually qualified at anything? I think all he claims to be are ALL totally untrue.
The only thing he is good at is pulling the wool over peoples eyes and that is failing lately.
This man needs to be removed to our council. He even got on there on technicalities.
Well we asked the peeps who removed the fence in the first place and they said it was needed for somewhere else in Hemsworth
