On the twenty first day of Kenyonmess…The Lakeside café bar – Fully supported by Kenyon
The much publicised and expensive conversion of the lakeside café and indoor play area to a sixties style pub.
When challenged about the cost as little seemed to have changed the excuse were that the improvements were “Hidden work” well yes, well hidden and a substantial amount done with cash payments.
The losses continue day on day to our community…
The private bar upstairs is worth every penny of our money, so a councillor told me, just needs a lift to save their legs, bless em.
I don’t know why they keep with the 60’s 70’s style entertainment, It doesn’t attract todays people and that’s where the money is.
Have you seen what is happening at the lanes, they have a cafe and delivery it is a great business and very busy.
Also, the Suppa club at elsecarr, then there’s a goody market in castleford monthly. We don’t have that here and it attracts people from all over. They should stop their 60’s get together and enter 2022.
