In the Town Council meeting 14 October 2021:
Clerk to the Council – Mr Alan Draper offered this advice:
“To be frank you sign up for it, however there is a line. The advice from YLCA is to rise above it”.
Unhappy with this advice Councillor Jean Eccles stated:
“that if it is to do with Council business I want the true facts putting on the Council website”.
This was agreed and passed by the other Councillors.

Hope he starts with the list of his true qualifications, and then his resignation, oh and post the missing bits from the Frenkle report and an apology to all the people these dispicable people have actually slandered and libelled. You’ve been authorised by the council now do it Mr Draper, or are you involved as well?
Doesn’t look like you will be busy correcting ferret, so try publishing all the reports and legal advice our community has paid for on behalf of Kenyon, womersley, Eccles, Wilson and all the other lackeys. Then we’ll see from your own hands and be able to read for ourselves who is telling the truth. So Mr Town Clerk get cracking, the clocks ticking. Bet you don’t do it!
Abuse is not stating the facts. If stating facts causes councillors to feel uncomfortable then maybe the councillors need to look at their actions. They obviously don’t like the truth to come out.
To Mr Draper:
Kenyon used the claims of false qualifications to promote his status to the electors. Also he used the false allegations of theft and corruption of the previous council again to promote his own and his independent colleagues position. Both of these are therefore “council” business as they bring the status of the council past and present into disrepute. I also find it interesting that as you were a Councillor at Hemsworth at the time this alleged corruption was taking place that you have not been dismissed, so presumably they are happy with your past conduct but not the others, strange to say the least.
So do as you have now been authorised to do by the full council and release all the necessary information in full to show the truth to the people about Kenyon and the vicious lies that he has promoted and circulated for years or you, yourself need to consider the ongoing viability of your own position.
Firstly a big thank you to “lady in waiting of the manor” Eccles, how kind of you to authorize the clerk to release information. Let’s start with the legal advice the council used for the unlawful spending of thousands of pounds of our money on your land at the farmers site, the clearing of the waterway adjacent to your land, why the computer that was purchased for you cost more than the two staff computers put together. Then there’s your connections to the new council auditor, your company supplying the council goods and services, the legal advice and court permission for the closing of the access road to the park and being a key holder having with a vested interest and on and on and on……..
Be interesting to see what’s published about Eccles farmers car park restoration supposedly in return for free parking at the park.
Then eccles’ going on to charge for parking and what was it that Jeany said in her defence, ” why should outsiders park for free” . Well well if that was the case why did you remove parking charges from the park itself for non residents, when our residents parked for free with permits issued by the council. Money from community pockets transferred to yours, oh to be fair you did repay £200 when it was exposed what you had done. But £200 doesn’t seem a lot makes me wonder what you really took. Not all people are daft even if you think they are.
This could be real own goal. Wouldn’t it be a pity if people in their senior years end up suffering the consequences of the penal system as a result of their activities. Mr Eccles is no stranger to the prison service but are the rest of Kenyon’s lackeys, including Womersley who may think he’s out of it now, prepared, so please Mr Town Clerk, get responding, full facts, full disclosure, only please, nothing less will do.
Yippee anything they release on line should then be open to full disclosure of all facts, info, reports in other words the job lot open to full scrutinery, bring it on and please Mr Draper explain your position in all this as I didn’t realise until now that you were a Councillor in the previous administration and according to their accusations should have sacked and prosecuted and not be working for them, if true of course lol
Please can someone make any sense of this ? Mercury was booked for the original VBoys concert at a cost of £3600. They have already been paid half of the fee !! They are not coming!! They are appearing somewhere else! If they wanted £3600 fee for the concert, how come they played on a Tuesday night 5th Nov 2019 and only charged £500 !!! Just sayin
This should be extended to lies these councillors talk in meetings

If you don’t want to answer questions just say so don’t go round the boring houses trying to put people to sleep then bring up what the last council did because its boring now absolutely 💯
And people are fed up of hearing the same rubbish over and over again to try get yourself out of the hole you have made for yourselves

That nobody wanted to hear it. Nobody wants to hear the “last Labour council or Wakefield” they were told.
