Following on, from the rant that Matthew Wibberley undertook to defend those pillars of society in our community, The Eccles’, he actually went a lot further and revealed his delusional thoughts of how he had done so much more in the last two years for our community than those who were simply happy that the Eccles’ strangle hold on the Waterpark had been removed.
Apart from saying it would be his pleasure to returf any damage the boy racers may do, but bear in mind he never refunded the £500 bonfire money, he even listed some of the great things he had done on our behalf:
He’s created he says, “numerous local jobs for starters and sponsored local football/rugby teams”.
Well Ferret will take your word for it, but obviously with a pinch of salt, because Ferret can tell you there are many people out there that have done real meaningful good work in this community for years and years not just two, who neither seek recognition or recompense.
As for your claims of job creation, Ferret has seen the video of your “young digger driver” that you posted on Facebook and all that needs saying is that it is totally irresponsible and the fact you feel it alright to post a child operating heavy machinery says a lot for your character or lack of it.
Ferret noticed that you quickly went on to another topic, obviously to divert from what was being discussed but choosing your purchase of the diggers was not a good idea.
You state you were the highest bidder, well that opens up another can of worms.
Sealed bids should be sent to the clerk of the council, which is Alan Draper.
That’s reassuring for us isn’t it, the same Alan Draper that can’t give a straight answer to a straight forward question or changes is answer depending on what day of the week it is or who asks a second time?
Like Kenyon he’s also been known to give different answers to the same question to the same person.
The bids are opened in the presence of two councillors, well that’s where being friends of councillors (your words not ferrets) may come in handy, especially if they hold influential positions.
It is a system so easy to corrupt if the people in charge of it are corrupt.
Bids can be opened, looked at and resealed so easily, even the rest of the councillors would not know.
Ferret can appreciate you did a lot of work “running around”, for the pallets, once again your Facebook page says differently, a few “clicks” and Ferret was able to see you asked your mates if they had any and they were soon located.
The issue here is your services should not have been needed. £500 of our money diverted to your pocket unnecessarily.
Contrary to your claim, people were directed to your café, a café which you rushed to open ready for the bonfire night trade the event at the park would create.
In other words money was taken from the Lakeside café, money that would have helped offset the cost of putting on the event, which Ferret is sure you are aware runs in thousands of pounds each year.
Money that was not or ever intended for your pockets, it is very reminiscent of when the Eccles set up a burger van on their drive to take money away from the council and ultimately our community.
As for your comment “If I see an opportunity to earn money in business I’m going to…… only a fool wouldn’t”
That statement really sums up your community mindedness, straight from your own mouth.
We are the fools for putting up with the likes of Kenyon and the Eccles cabal.
One last thought, Ferret has posted previously about “pesky coincidences” here’s another one, Matthew Wibberley ran a raffle, tickets were £85 a piece, guess what two of the prizes were?
Two good quads- mega win
Once again posted on social media.
Matthew Wibberley: The Knight in Greasy Armour or the community saviour or another freeloader?
