At a recent Hemsworth Town Council Meeting the following decision was made:

185: resolved that the service of WMDC be procured for out of hours security.

How interesting, does that mean that our general manager of everything has failed in this aspect of her job description?

Well we obviously know she has, following her abject failure to prevent the burglaries that Hemsworth Waterpark seems to attract despite having security CCTV, alarm systems, tracker devices fitted to equipment and a separate CCTV system and locked gate controlled by the Chair of The Council Jean Eccles and her husband Councillor Gordon Eccles.

Hemsworth must really be attracting a class of “super villains” if they can outsmart the best that the cabal can throw at them with these state of the art defences and personnel.

The equipment they must have used ripping a roller door from its frame must be worthy of a patent as Sam Knowles apparently didn’t hear a thing, despite being in the building at the time.

Ferret understands that Jim Kenyon and co have really got egg on their faces over their security arrangements by having to, once again, go cap in hand to WMDC, this time for security.

Why is that, apart from the disastrous failure mentioned?

Guess which company “the last lot” Kenyon’s dreaded enemies used for out of hours security was?

WMDC, oh how that must have stung them.

Ferret wonders if Hemsworth Town Council will be reviewing all the security services and systems providers that they have put in place since May 2019 as a matter of urgency.

They should also look at the rate of pay of their manager of everything and have it reduced accordingly now that her job role has also been reduced.

Hemsworth Town Council: Security What Security?

They’ve exposed themselves as a laughing stock once again but at our expense of course.

  1. Every part of the HTC as it stands at the moment needs a complete overhaul from top to bottom,a clean sweep throughout. The only people to do this are the good councillors working together and the community working together and making our feelings known on VOTING day.We have the final say and hopefully the community can become just that a caring community again with a Council and Councillors who put the community first so we need a big brush and a good clean sweep to remove all the rubbish.
