Readers of Ferret will no doubt be well aware of the “bargain” plant equipment purchased by Independent Hemsworth Town Council, shortly into their current tenure.

This is the equipment which was purchased prior to authorisation from the full Council and it had been parked at Councillor Jim Kenyon’s home address prior to this.

Ferret has also previously highlighted the fact, that all of the plant machinery has required expensive repairs since it was “bought as seen” without any form of warranty by Mr Jim Kenyon and his cabal.

In the accounts for February 2022 is a further payment of £511.02, this time for repairs to the Roller.

Ferret has found difficulty obtaining details of this company, maybe Independent Hemsworth Town Council could enlighten us all via their corrections webpage…

  1. A excavator, a huge four wheeler dumper, a huge double drum sit on vibration roller!!! What in heaven’s name do you need these for in a WATER PARK???? None of these could ever ever be needed on a permanent basis in a water park they’re plant machinery that is primarily used on building sites road construction or groundwork operations, in a WATER PARK, someone is having a laugh and greatly so at some buggar else’s expense.
Those things are rarely if ever used down there they’re parked up rotting away and if they’ve needed such high maintenance whilst idle imagine what they’d have cost if they’d been in regular use which machine’s like this have to be in order to earn their keep, that’s why responsible councils hire as and when NEEDED. We’ve been flogged a cart load of old iron and shite old iron at that. The purchase and process of doing so of these machines needs really really looking into
