As already highlighted by Ferret, Mr Folletti seems to come from the same “school” as his great and learned mentor Jim Kenyon.

Their “School Motto” is “Make it up as you go along to suit whatever you want to do”.

It seems that openness and transparency only apply while they are out vote catching.

So what about accountability? Does he even know what it means?

Councillors must adhere to a code of conduct and complete a register of interests. This means that they are fully accountable to the public and assures the community that decisions are always taken in the public interest.

So what has Mr Folletti’s response been to residents who have rightly questioned his recent actions as a Hemsworth Town Councillor?

A description in three words: arrogant, unbelievable and unacceptable.

He accused one of “cross examining him” and replied to others with the letters L.O.L.

So much for civility from an elected representative, in fact it’s very reminiscent of  Jim Kenyon and Jean Eccles for some reason, Ferret can’t quite think why?

Maybe perhaps: Birds of a feather flock together…

  1. Everyone in public office either by way of election or employment are accountable, The Government introduced the Nolan principles as standards to be upheld and they apply to everyone.
