With the upcoming election for a new Chair at Hemsworth Town Council. Ferret thought it would be a good time to recap some of Mr Jim Kenyon’s “greatest” moments.
Will his “Independent” colleagues vote for him to remain Chair for another year?
Just who is Mr Jim Kenyon?
He is all things to all people is Mr Jim Kenyon, with a lie for every occasion.
However, some of these are very repetitive but then again if it worked once, use it again and again. People will eventually believe it, even if they had doubts before.
That’s his motto, that is until the same old lies are discovered to be just that, even then He waits a short while, sometimes just minutes and regurgitate them out again.
The perennial expert, he can and does talk with ease about any ideas or schemes, no matter how madcap they are, especially when he is trying to line his own pocket and never a care for the damage and upset he leaves in his trail.
He has had many disasters both here in the United Kingdom and also abroad, most notably in Tenerife.
Ferret is running a reprise of some of his “achievements” for the benefit of any new readers who may not have seen them posted previously.
Day 8 – The Teacher, The Experts and The betrayal
The alter ego’s appeared more and more, the veteran soldier, the planning expert, the health and safety specialist, the legal expert, who knew everything about everything and all the others were wrong.
Whatever the issue, Kenyon the perennial liar and expert arose to support his case. The list of expertise became endless.
Kenyon was now in a dilemma, his loft became fuller and fuller with all those certificates, that he couldn’t even find when asked, even his teacher registration number eluded him and a furry animal was by now really a pest.
Money was again thrown away trying to trap the Ferret.
Sod the needy, Kenyon was heard to cry, that pesky Ferret has to die.
So the teacher disappeared, along with all his certificates into that ever expanding loft space.
No apology or resignation was seen or heard yet again.
As well as trying to stop the football development, he had tried to block the new Tesco and even the KFC and Costa but for some reason he never offered objections when his friends and associates’ the Eccles’ scheme required planning approval at Kirkygate Hemsworth or for the land development adjacent to the Woodlands estate.
The residents rebelled and took him and his cabal to task for their blatant betrayal.
They gave him a slapping
His response as ever, Let’s blame the last lot, I mean would he ever tell a lie!
Again no apology or resignation appeared.
Coming tomorrow – Day 9 – Trust in a Trust…
