Following on from Ferret’s recent post about Mr Jason Begg and his company Your Choice Fire and Security Limited, Ferret looked in more detail at payments which have been made to him by Independent Hemsworth Town Council.
In the accounts for March 2021 for example, there appears to be not only a further cost for the “free” farm building / storage unit of £1716 but also two further entries both listed as “call out”.
Ferret assumes that C/C relates to Community Centre and S/G relates to Sandygate football facilities.
What Ferret can’t understand is that as they employ their own Head of Security – Sam Knowles, why would payment be made to a third party company for security related call outs…
There is no visible security presence! When I was there last Wednesday I witnessed a young lad who was with a group of girls, throwing ‘caps’ for toy guns at a car in the car park.
Does seem odd paying twice for a service but then again Kenyon can spend our money twice with no problems.
