Ferret thought, in good old “Blue Peter” style, it was important to have a total running cost of your money that Independent Hemsworth Town Council, led by Mr Jim Kenyon has wasted or in the case of his promised Precept reduction failed to provide since May 2019.

The total currently stands at: £1,768,496.79
And just think another load of our precept money is due to be given to them in April, I wonder who or what they’ve got lined up for that lot,
Something has to be done, they’re incompetent at best, I’d love to be able to spend spend spend and not suffer the consequences like they seem to be doing, playing monopoly with our community and the go to jail card has been hid in Kenyon’s loft. I reported them to the”monitoring office” I might be wrong as to the name. But basically their reply was if they vote for it they can do it and nothing can be done about it. Licence to kill.
I thought there had been a recent boast of the precept remaining the same! Hemsworth town council website says different….another increase apparently!
Donald you’re right, the precept collected has gone up, the precept charged to each household has remained the same. It is a different thing altogether, another rise hidden instead of the extra income being used to reduce the bill to the householders. A lie once again. More money for them to waste
