Ferret has been approached by some of our elderly veterans in the parish who have served for our Queen and Country.
They are angry and upset that the Chair Mr Jim Kenyon of Independent Hemsworth Town Council appears to have been masquerading as a former member of the armed forces.
Ferret too, is also appalled by this charade.
Mr Jim Kenyon – If this allegation is not true then please reassure this community and former members of the armed services by letting us know:
In what branch(s) of the armed forces did you service?
- When?
- Where?
- For how long?
- Could you provide your services number?
Ferret will then check your information once provided, and share this on my site.
Further to this, with regards to your other claims and professions:
Teacher
- Could you provide your teaching qualifications please?
- Where these were obtained?
- Relevant certificates so that these can be checked with the issuing bodies?
- Where if anywhere you did actually teach?
A former College lecturer
- Could you provide your qualifications that enabled you to become a College lecturer please?
- Where and when these were obtained?
- Relevant certificates so that these can be checked with the issuing bodies?
- You claimed to have been a lecturer at Barnsley college on what dates and what subjects?
A qualified builder
Ferret has been hearing about your “Jim’ll fix it days” nothing that has been said would lead anyone to believe that you hold any qualifications for building.
So
- Could you provide your qualifications that enabled you to call yourself a “qualified builder” please?
- Where and when these were obtained?
- Relevant certificates so that these can be checked with the issuing bodies?
Ferret already has proof of your Bankruptcy so there is no need to provide any additional information.
Ferret already has proof of your licensed premises calamities so there is no need to provide any additional information.
Ferret already has proof of your grandiose scheme failures so there is no need to provide any additional information.
Ferret has also heard of your failed attempts at legal representation, most recently in relation to Mr. Eccles.
Ferret has also heard of your failed attempts at legal judicial reviews and the scathing words of the judge.
Ferret has also heard of your failed attempts at security unable to prevent the theft of “2 quad bikes” on separate occasions despite security on site, CCTV and lockable gates.
Ferret has also heard of your failed attempts with personnel/staffing matters leading to unfair dismissal claims both past and present.
Ferret wonders if you have now paid the Hemsworth lady the outstanding employment tribunal award made payable by the court from you to her?
So, Mr Jim Kenyon: Set the record straight and put the minds of our cherished Veterans and the rest of our townspeople at ease, by being “open and transparent” and show the proof of your many qualifications and service record claims.
You missed the main one Ferret, con man, but then again he his highly qualified in that lol. The man’s an evil manipulative nasty piece of scum and that’s a nice way to put it.

One false claim like these should warrant his resignation never mind a list that seems to get longer and longer. Just a downright liar that destroys everything he touches. Come on prove us wrong show proof of any one of your real qualifications, bet you can’t even do that. You and your supporters are not fit to mix with decent folk.

Dont forget his football career playing alongside Kevin Keegan ⚽️. JK claims to have played for Scunthorpe and Barnsley FC. This could be true of course but we will never know as Jim and his sidekick Ian W seem to have gone to ground. Perhaps he could have gone back to his role as “Askern Greyhound Welfare Officer”…what a guy !!

Oh yes I remember little Jimmy, he used to keep the toilets spotless and was good at clearing away dog shit, I think that’s where his love of greyhounds started. He loved to spend hours rolling on his back in all the dog crap he’d picked up, definitely what a guy . He could even name a dog’s breed from its crap …….or so he said lol.
