Mr James (Jim) Kenyon (Chair of Independent Hemsworth Town Council)
It has been brought to the attention of Ferret, that Mr Kenyon has in the past been personally declared Bankrupt, this is on top of bankrupting at least two local businesses whilst in charge.
Further to this, and more importantly – He has absolutely NO financial assets in his name.
This is the man who, as Chair of Independent Hemsworth Town Council not only oversees the spending of YOUR precept, which is nearly £1 Million per year but also has the responsibility of the multi million pound assets belonging to YOU.
Ultimately, if any scrutiny of the past decisions made by the Councillors of Hemsworth Town Council are deemed to have been inappropriate in the future – The individual Councillors can be held financially responsible.
A man with no assets has nothing to lose…other Councillors (including at least three multi millionaires) can’t say the same.
