The local elections are scheduled to be held in the United Kingdom on 4 May 2023.

This is the opportunity to elect 15 new councillors for Hemsworth Town Council to represent us for the next four years.

Due to the conduct of the Independent “cabal” candidates prior to the last elections, when lie after lie was communicated to our communities, both verbally and in writing, Ferret believes a trip down memory lane is required.

Day 1

Jim Kenyon was the prime mover and central figure of the Independent councillors’ campaign.

He has had a lifetime of experience in asset stripping facilities and relieving companies, communities and individuals of their precious and hard earned funds.

He has put many people out of work and he even has an outstanding Employment Tribunal judgement against him that he has failed to pay to a local lady.

Jim’ll fix it, was the name of the building firm he ran here in the Hemsworth area. Jim did fix it of course for himself and not for his customers.

Although he claimed and claims to be a qualified builder, amongst many other things, Ferret believes that at best he did a short course on artexing and those who know him seem uncertain that he even finished that.

Bodged jobs abounded, he always wanted more money than quoted as the job progressed and when people complained he disappeared leaving many customers out of pocket with jobs unfinished and not even done to an acceptable standard.

He was declared bankrupt and he, his name and address and his company earned a place in the hall of infamy, the London Gazette’s list of Bankrupts.

  1. Kenyon’s always been a waste of space and as for them that associate with him, they’re just as bad. No decent person would go with in miles of him.
