The words of disgraced, former bankrupt and proven liar Jim Kenyon when asked a direct question regarding the Christmas Float by Councillor Middleton in the Town Council Meeting held on 1 December 2022.
LIE AFTER LIE AFTER LIE to every single member of our community since their election on a manifesto of lies back in 2019.
The agenda for the 1 December 2022 Town Council meeting may have disappeared from the website of Independent Hemsworth Town Council and there are currently no minutes available.
Even if there were minutes available, Ferret believes that as is always the case Town Clerk – Alan Draper would omit anything which was detrimental to his Lord and Lady masters Gordon, Jean and Jimmy.
Unfortunately for all four of them Lyn Morton recorded this meeting, as she has done the majority of meetings to ensure OPENESS AND TRANSPARENCY. Easy words to say and promise and even easier for the Independent ‘cabal’ to break over and over again.

Councillor Jim Kenyon in response to Councillor Middleton’s queries regarding appropriate risk assessments being in place:
“We’ve done it for the last three Christmases, this will be the fourth one. Everything has been in place, risk assessments and insurance. Gordon’s provided the truck, diesel and costs.”
Councillor Jean Eccles added:
“I’ll make sure everything is in place.”… “The kids come running, they absolutely love it.”
Ferret can also now reveal that the vehicle concerned is 27 YEARS OLD, and in the last MOT which it had in 2021 it was discovered to have issues with its STEERING and WHEEL BEARINGS
How much more deceit will be discovered between now and the elections to replace all the Councillors in May 2023 is anyone’s guess.
It certainly comes as no surprise that three of the Councillors who REFUSED to undertake Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks seem to be at the centre of everything that is wrong at Independent Hemsworth Town Council.

How low will the cabal sink to and how desperate they must be feeling to remove the said meeting 1/12/22 recording and the removal of the agenda and the removal of the minutes sheer desperation.Good job the savvy parishioners now save every detail to come out of the HTC,good job we have true community people like Lyn to zoom and record meetings as evidence that cannot be edited,wiped,removed.Time is coming roll on May to remove the bad apples and let the decent hard working true community councillors take over and it’s in the communities hands to do this VOTE,VOTE for honesty,integrity and transparency.
