Here is the recording from this evenings Town Council Meeting held on 19 December 2022, or it would be if David Pringle the husband of “Independent” cabal Councillor Linda (who failed to turn up) hadn’t started to abuse a female member of the community – and not for the first time.
What an absolute, hero he must be (to himself only) but to no one else, including his wife who fails to attend her elective duties, and not for the first time.
Anyone would think she doesn’t support her husbands utter nonsense ramblings?
Independent Hemsworth Town Council may blame the Internet connection at the Community Centre which they have known has been poor for weeks, however everyone else in the audience and in Hemsworth can manage a decent connection via their mobile data, so why can’t good old Alan sort it out?
Anyone would think they didn’t want it being shown?
When the abuse was raised with the Chair of the meeting Jean Eccles, she refused to have Pringle removed from the meeting for his appalling conduct.
It was such a pity the camera wasn’t working, Mystic Jean surely could have foreseen this but then again perhaps she had.
It was even noticed that Pringle had raised a confidential issue that had been discussed in exclusion of press and public, Ferret wonders just where he got that information from?
Due to this incident and the Chair of the Council’s refusal to take any action against Pringle, most of the Councillors walked out leaving only 3 “cabal” at the meeting who were:
- Eccles, Jean
- Kenyon
- Hirst
For a Town Council meeting to legally function 5 councillors must be in attendance and therefore the meeting was no longer quorate and was closed.

Total ,utter disgrace and after last nite the abusive David Pringle should not be allowed into the community centre or attend meetings again.Now let’s see what action will be taken by the Town Clerk who as a code of duty to protect parishioners and the other councillors who attend meetings,let’s see what action will be taken against the Chair of the council who was asked several times to ask him to leave and only after a torrent of requests she gave him a warning after being told to do so by the Town Clerk Alan Draper.There were elderly parishioners in the meeting last nite who were visibly shocked at Pringles outburst of vile abuse and had to be helped into the lift to get out of the chambers pity his wife councillor Linda Pringle was not in attendance to witness his disgraceful behaviour again as it is not the first time.These are the people that want to be elected as our councillors what a joke,it is never more important now that we as the community come together and end the Independants control of our council ,we need to come together and support the true community councillors and we the community VOTE this lot out .
On learning about a individuals outburst at the meeting I thought would check HTC policy on unruly/abusive behaviour , its there on the corrections page at the top of page in bold red writing , and on the standing orders page item 3 what should have happened at the meeting and the consequences to the individual concerned .
Would certainly like to know how HTC are going to deal with this situation has this could set a president either way.
