Readers will recall Ferret highlighting the so called “improvements” Jim Kenyon made whilst he was driving around in his very expensive digger, paid for by us of course and leaving a trail of destruction wherever he had been let loose on our precious assets.
It was so bad even WMDC ordered restoration work to be undertaken on a “road” he had carved out at the Waterpark for his beloved but ill-fated Vengaboys concert.
He even claimed that all his projects were finished, yes unbelievable even by his standards but true. Restoration was agreed by the Town Council to be undertaken but on a recent walkabout
Ferret noticed the following, judge for yourselves if the work has actually been remedied:
This is not an isolated incident and the cost of all this remedial work and damage and because of the lack of routine and essential maintenance, the real costs of the cabal independents disastrous financial mismanagement remains, as yet hidden.
Perhaps if poor Jimmy’s injuries or the DWP hadn’t caught up with him the results may have been different but then again Ferret highly doubts it.

The trail of destruction is not limited to one place sandygate football or the waterpark take a look at the bodged work that’s called a car park at cemetery Road football home of West End Terriers.The car park is a disgrace and should have been tarmac to at least appear to be a safe place to park your car.Mounds of uneven gravel on a not so smooth surface,cars scrunching their tyres when trying to park up,flooded in parts as not levelled off and surfaced correctly,no wonder visiting supporters prefer to park in the adjoining streets or in the actual cemetery rather than risking their tyres and exhausts and this as led to huge parking issues for residents but never mind it doesn’t affect councillor Kenyon or the rest of the cabal only the community that use the facilities.Hopefully the tide is turning and our money will be spent on the community and decent completed facilities if there is any money left after the not for the community projects have been stopped and it’s the community who can stop and put an end to this by VOTING and VOTING for change.

As usual Julie hits the mark. Whereas Digger only seems to be able to mark every hit we take (our wanted precept money). I wonder if Sting should be claiming royalties, because its so frequent. Digger in the cab humming and whistling (I doubt he can remember lyrics).. Every hit I make… Every p*** we take… Every promise that I break… We’ll be rinsing you!
