The financial masterminds of Independent Hemsworth Town Council, Jim Kenyon and Jean Eccles strike again.
The Chair and former Chair of the Council are quick to hail their financial prowess to anyone that will listen.
When auditing their accounts from May 2019 until May 2022, Ferret is shocked to see a number of entries simply titled “bank charges”.
Now Ferret could understand Barclays charging Independent Hemsworth Town Council if they went overdrawn for example. Mistakes do happen, especially when dealing with the extremely large sums of money which are entrusted to our Town Council.
However, what Ferret can’t accept is the Independent Hemsworth Town Council have spent £4408.66 of YOUR Precept money on “Bank Charges”.
