Independent Hemsworth Town Council seem to have a habit or trying to make it as difficult as possible for the good members of our community to keep track of the income and expenditure within our community.
As readers of Ferret will already be aware there has been an enormous amount of money simply listed as “Petty Cash” in the monthly accounts since May 2019.
This has been signed off each and every month by the “cabal” councillors including the disgraced former Chair, Jim Kenyon and the current Chair multi-millionaire Jean Eccles.
What Ferret has now found, when auditing the accounts of Independent Hemsworth Town Council, and specifically looking at the use of card payments and providers is alarming.
Not only does it seem they are using four separate companies to process card payments but also they have failed, once again with due diligence and the financial costs associated with their choice of these providers.
From May 2019 up until June 2022, it has cost us the Precept payers £6950.43.
£7000 of our communities money – GONE.
