In July 2020, Independent Hemsworth Town Council decided to spend over £20,000 of your money on a new lawn mower.
This is another “lockdown” purchase.

Ferret finds this cost excessive, especially when Balmers LTD website does not contain any mowers of this value.
Ferret also understands the Lawnmower was delivered and used prior to any purchase being authorised by Independent Hemsworth Town Council – Does this sound familiar?
Again, Ferret wonders if a full procurement process took place?
It just keeps getting worse with everything that emerges.
Has anyone actually seen this super duper lawn mower being used? I was down there last Thursday and someone was using the usual hand pushed mower. So what happened to it? Hope it’s not disappeared off the old Asset Register – which is due to be published again soon (that will be interesting!).
