Ferret has been asked by a number of members of the Township about the former allotments at Fitzwilliam.
Ferret can confirm this land is situated behind the “City Estate” in Fitzwilliam which has over the last few years been rebuilt by Keepmoat Homes.
The previous Town Council had an agreement drawn up which ensured full access to this parcel of land as part of this development.

This ensured the land was not “land locked” thus increasing its value dramatically.
Ferret would hope that any sale of this land is fully “open and transparent” including the valuations which Ferret hopes Independent Hemsworth Town Council have received from at least three reputable sources.
If Independent Hemsworth Town Council take the decision to sell this land, and not develop it for the benefit of the residents of Fitzwilliam, Ferret would hope the money can be used in Fitzwilliam for the benefit of all the Township and the residents…
