It has come to the attention of Ferret, that Mr. Kenyon has been questioning the way previous Hemsworth Town Councils would spend money on facilities they do not own.
Ferret is sure this is an attempt to divert attention away from his reckless spending of Community funds at the Lakeside Café Bar and Councillors own properties.
In particular the Fitzwilliam Centre, which Ferret has already established that the Deeds to the land were transferred to Hemsworth Town Council on completion of the transfer of the Trust and as such are very much a Hemsworth Town Council asset.
So, the great “business man, expert and highly qualified in a number of professions” Mr Jim Kenyon is apparently wrong once again.
Ferret wonders if Mr Kenyon has forgotten about when he took over Ayr Stadium in Scotland and he stated he was going to spend hundreds of thousands of pounds on improvements? Has he also forgotten he took it over on…yes, you’ve got it LEASE. We all now know he left it derelict and unsafe and needing £400,000 pounds spending on it as he had stripped it bare!
Then there was the Beeches Club Hemsworth – Did you own that Mr Kenyon? No – and again you left it destroyed.
Then there was the Jubilee Club – Did you own that Mr Kenyon? No – another business you left destroyed and then eventually sold, despite it being in a Trust in perpetuity for the people of South Kirkby.
Ferret then thought about all these grants and loans and continued “improvements” to our football communities at Sandygate Lane and Cemetery Road Hemsworth.
Have you Mr Kenyon, conveniently forgotten Cemetery Road is leased from Wakefield Council? again taken over and greatly improved because of the condition it had fallen into, at the request of the teams by a previous Hemsworth Town Council.
Yet you are planning to spend on this site and have already done so.
Sandygate Lane is leased from the Archbishop Holgate Trust and it was greatly appreciated by the Council when they permitted it to be converted to the superb football facilities it now provides to this community.
Yet again you are planning to further spend extravagantly on this site.
So Mr. Kenyon, to use your own logic…Are you now going to stop spending Community money on these leased sites?

Well said Ferret, we all know Kenyon can and does make his mouth say absolutely anything to suit his purposes and the two faced ways he goes about it then leaves others to pick up the bills staggers belief. He must really think we are all as stupid as his supporters appear to be. Keep up the good work exposing his lying and corruption and maybe just maybe the penny may start dropping to the people he relies on to vote through his madcap ideas
