When checking through the accounts of Independent Hemsworth Town Council, it seems that “Duck Food” and “Duck Food Bags” are regular entries.
In February 2022 £81.61 was spent on the Duck Food Bags and £387.50 on Duck Food.
In April 2022 £285.80 was spent on the Duck Food Bags and £35 on Duck Food.
Ferret wonders if Independent Hemsworth Town Council can fully itemise all sales of Duck Food at the Lakeside Café Bar and Beach Shop?
Don’t be silly Ferret, it’s no doubt all “cash sales” and unaccounted for, like lots of other things at the Waterpark.
Maybe it’s another cunning plan from the Independents?

Someone having a good ducking laugh at our expense. With the amount of money there them ducks should be as big as jumbo jets maybe they could harness them and recoup some money by offering rides around that lake on them
I’ve actually offered the bags back to be reused when I bought some for my kids, and they looked at me like I had two heads. I assumed they must buy it ready-bagged after this incident so this has made it more interesting!
