The local elections are scheduled to be held in the United Kingdom on 4 May 2023.
This is the opportunity to elect 15 new councillors for Hemsworth Town Council to represent us for the next four years.
Due to the conduct of the Independent “cabal” candidates prior to the last elections, when lie after lie was communicated to our communities, both verbally and in writing, Ferret believes a trip down memory lane is required.
Day 2
Jim Kenyon was aided and abetted in his campaign and vendetta against the previous Labour council by all those who later became known as the cabal.
Today Ferret will focus on Gordon Eccles.
Gordon Eccles has a very long list of criminal convictions ranging from theft to very serious offences.
Crime was a way of life for him, hidden behind a legitimate façade. His companies ranged from scrap merchant, motor services, landlord of public houses and housing.
Ferret has received photographs of the condition of some of his properties from concerned tenants who are at the end of their tether, due to his refusal to deal with their properties problems.
He is hard faced and regularly even told people to “do one” when complaining to him they had been bitten by his dogs that he allowed to run loose in public places.
In fact, he is so hard faced when the criminal court was being refurbished in Wakefield, he even bought the “Dock” that he had occupied on the many occasions he was found guilty.
He then “proudly displayed” it in his own Home!
His businesses/properties have a habit of catching fire and recently fires at two of them, one in South Elmsall and Hemsworth were investigated by the police following reports of suspicious odours and plants.
The one in Hemsworth was illegally connected to electricity supplies.
Gordon even recommended the Internal auditor that is now at Hemsworth Town Council for employment.

Eccles is a disgrace, both him and Jean are not fit to mingle with decent people.
They should be shunned and better still sent to jail. He would probably feel at home there.
