Ferret thought that as we have a new and entitled Chair of Hemsworth Town Council and as Christmas is coming, it would be appropriate to give a brief résumé of just a few of the highlights or lowlights of their time in public office in line with the Ferret tradition.

If anyone looks through the accounts of food purchases for the lakeside café bar then they can’t help but wonder at the vast amount of food purchases and the huge costs involved over the last 3 years.
How on earth have the sales not been matched by profits?
Even a small profit would have been something yet we have seen massive losses.
Ferret readers may recall Alan draper being notified of an unusual amount of card machines being used at the lakeside and instead of taking immediate action notified the then chair of the council Jim Kenyon about it.
They decided not to investigate until the following day for some reason, we can all guess why…
Very surprisingly when they did enter Jean Eccles Kingdom they did not find anything out of order.
