In the February 2022 accounts, a payment was made to Park Square Barristers for £630.
Ferret understands that Mr Alan Draper, Clerk to Independent Hemsworth Town Council made the decision to spend this money from our Precept, WITHOUT the approval of our Councillors.
Ferret can not understand why Mr Alan Draper didn’t make use of the free legal advice which is available to him via the Yorkshire Local Councils Associations or the SLCC.
Maybe Independent Hemsworth Town Council could enlighten us?
Ferret would hope that Mr Draper is subject to the relevant disciplinary procedures…
