On Thursday, the Electorate voted to restore a balance of honesty and decency to the election campaign in the Hemsworth Ward 7 voting district.
This was after another attempt was made to derail the election process in the Hemsworth area using malicious and fake leafleting.
With an overwhelming majority Melanie Jones was elected to represent this community as a District Councillor at Wakefield.
This should send a clear message to the people involved in this despicable, malicious behaviour will not be tolerated anymore.
The public have spoken, let’s hope the villains have listened and resign…
I’m afraid Hell will freeze over before they resign, they are too full of their own self worth. Thinking that no one can do better. Making a name for themselves and getting their photo on a wall 🙄.

Is there anyone putting up against lady of the manor for chairperson? Also if she does get voted on and the police investigation goes against her/them will she have to resign as chairperson. Also the rest involved in the smear campaign have to resign too? 🤞
