With the upcoming election for a new Chair at Hemsworth Town Council. Ferret thought it would be a good time to recap some of Mr Jim Kenyon’s “greatest” moments.
Will his “Independent” colleagues vote for him to remain Chair for another year?
Just who is Mr Jim Kenyon?
He is all things to all people is Mr Jim Kenyon, with a lie for every occasion.
However, some of these are very repetitive but then again if it worked once, use it again and again. People will eventually believe it, even if they had doubts before.
That’s his motto, that is until the same old lies are discovered to be just that, even then He waits a short while, sometimes just minutes and regurgitate them out again.
The perennial expert, he can and does talk with ease about any ideas or schemes, no matter how madcap they are, especially when he is trying to line his own pocket and never a care for the damage and upset he leaves in his trail.
He has had many disasters both here in the United Kingdom and also abroad, most notably in Tenerife.
Ferret is running a reprise of some of his “achievements” for the benefit of any new readers who may not have seen them posted previously.
Day 3 – The Failed Business Man Again
The Beeches and Jubilee clubs caught his eye and were soon left in tatters and out of business.
A local lady was left owed thousands of pounds after winning an employment tribunal case against him for unfair dismissal, but to this day she has not received a penny piece.
Her job was given away while she was on holiday for a week.
The Jubilee club, although thought to be safe as the land was in a Trust, was sold off for development.
His eyes must have widened when he heard about the planned venture to sell the former old quarry and tip/derelict sports centre and turn it into £4.5 million pounds here in Hemsworth, to enable new sports and community facilities to be achieved in a time of recession for our township.
He decided he needed in, that money was like an irresistible magnet to his always empty scheming pockets.
He wasted no time at all in spouting the lies that would continue for the next eleven years, no matter how many times he was beaten in court or how many times he was shown and told the truth, the “expert” new best and the lies poured forth.
The costs to our Council, us in reality and through legal aid were enormous, but that was no concern to him, a former bankrupt with no tangible assets, he continued on with impunity.
