Following on from the post regarding Independent Hemsworth Town Council’s failure to provide residents with any information about LP21 and the wider Local Plan 2036, Ferret decided to take a look at Ackworth Parish Council and how they made their residents aware.
Ackworth Parish Council is extremely small in both staff it employs and the funding it receives compared to Independent Hemsworth Town Council.
Both Council’s send a Newsletter to all of their residents, however it looks as though Ackworth do this on a much regular basis than Hemsworth Town Council.
The Newsletters which Ferret would like to share with you are both from the end of 2020.

Why can one Council get things so right and the other so wrong on many many levels…
He was presented with proof of his lies and incompetence last night that he had absolutely no answers for. He walked out because he’d been well and truly wiped the floor with. He still refused to accept and acknowledge the comments of people in the audience. Yes he had asked a gentleman to speak to him more respectfully, but to be fair I think he would have walked out anyway. Also with regard to that gentleman, jk needs to accept that he will be criticized and that people are passionate about our community which is more than he is, the only passion he has is for mispending our money for his own fun and vendettas.
