At the end of each financial year a Council has (or should have) a sum of money which is carried over to the following year.

Will we ever get a written response to our questions submitted to Independent Hemsworth Town Council and Mr Kenyon from the meeting held on 12 October 2021?
If I am understanding these figures correctly, the independents have overspent their budget by nearly £200000 by raiding Council funds, which is our money in only one year. I’m sure I’ve seen claims by Kenyon and his disciples that the Council’s assets, our assets have increased. This cannot be right, Another Kenyon lie?

I was told by the clerk in an email when I asked about the Kirkby Road complex and how it was being financed that their accounts were ‘very healthy’. Now I’m not so sure.
The accounts look to be going the wrong way it’s very disturbing, and the more I hear about Kenyon’s business past, history maybe repeating itself.

Even that loses value every year and costs a fortune to run and maintain and that’s without having to get external services in to repair damage done lol
Hmmm, the amount spent on the windsurfer on equipment alone 78 grand the 42 grand for plant machinery 6 grand on forensic audit none of this capital outlay can ever be recovered it’s gone and they’re not small amounts. The allotment at Fitzwilliam in the hands of estate agents will bring in a sizeable figure and it may well be needed but it’s a capital security that is lost and diminishes assets even further
don’t forget the burger van that cost about 10k which is no way near that in value

That is exactly what it means. They went over their budget by nearly £200,000.
