Following the election of 2019, The new Independent Hemsworth Town Council had a number of vacancies to fill.
These included the Deputy Town Clerk and also a number of newly created positions required to staff the “open at whatever the cost” Lakeside Café Bar (former Windsurfer at Hemsworth Waterpark).
Noting unusual you might think…
However, Ferret understands the wife of one of the newly elected Independent Town Councillors’ was appointed to the Deputy Town Clerk position.
And the son of the Chair of the new Independent Hemsworth Town Council was appointed to a position at the Lakeside Café Bar.
Now Ferret is not suggesting for one moment that anything untoward happened here…Ferret just loves coincidences!
