Extraordinary Council Meeting – Tonight

Every month there is a payment to pro logic for IT support…every month there is a payment to Lily communications for “telephone system”. Every month this cost is around £1200! Every month there is a subscription to Zoom. Then why oh why is there no meeting being shown tonight? Totally dispicable!!!

Well folks, I can only say that I arrived late- as the councillors and the public were leaving. But, I had a very interesting conversation with the Chair. Now, I have always thought that I have striven for balance and fairness when making comments. And, I have tried to be seasonal (let’s face it there is not much to make us smile at the moment). But, it appears that I have signalled our Chair out for unfair criticism, and that I have referred to songs that the Chair thinks that people actually believe characterise her unfairly (and seemingly somehow affects her credibility as a “business-person.”) I cannot make any comments relating to the Chairs (or any other business-person’s) business practices. But, I can reiterate my previously made statement (it’s on public record) that Ferret has raised allegations (and provided “evidence”) that parishioners are concerned to fully discuss with the councillors. Tonight, I put this to the Chair who said all I have to do is take the questions to her. Excuse me, but I have tried to put questions to the Councillors (including the Chair) in public question times. I’ve been met with “move progress”, and “we have run out of public questions.”

Now, it is my responsibility to set the record straight. Apart from possibly facing copy-write accusations (though in all honesty the songs are older than me, and I don’t think I quoted word for word), I am not seriously saying that any of our councillors are “pick-pockets” and I have no proof of any criminality whatsoever. It is called satire. But, I do try to be fair and if I have caused offence (no matter who the upset person) then it is probably fair to call me scum. It remains however, that Ferret has made some pretty serious allegations – and the only evidence that we ever seem to see, apart from half-answers relating to Kirby Road, appears in Ferrets’ posts. I am sure that Ferret will support me when I say that if Ferret (they seek him here, they seek her there) is misconstruing information, then I would welcome a full investigation whatever the outcome. Ferret presents him or herself as a bringer of truth and an exposer of lies. Please councillors, respond to the allegations that have been made on these pages – and reassure us!
