Since taking control of Hemsworth Town Council in May 2019, the Independent ‘cabal’ have made numerous purchases and contracts which have been financially detrimental to our community.
In the case of the Plant Machinery, Ferret still finds it inexplicable that the former and disgraced Chair of Hemsworth Town Council, Jim Kenyon, had one parked on his driveway at home for months before it was eventually purchased by Hemsworth Town Council.
The purchase itself was made before actually being authorised by the Town Council.
Ferret also finds it strange that Independent Hemsworth Town Council managed to purchase this plant machinery from companies which do not normally deal in with the sale of them.
Recently the Town Council voted to sell some of the machinery and Ferret can now confirm that has taken place.
Ferret has now seen one of the companies NM Plant Hire offering the machinery for rent.

They are based, in would you believe it, Gordon and Jean Eccles old Scrap Yard, on Hoyle Mill Road Kinsley, just yards from their gated mansion.
