Happy first birthday to Ferret!
Team Ferret became aware of the very strange ongoings at the Independent controlled Hemsworth Town Council back in early 2021 and began to research in detail, prior to sharing this information with the good people of Hemsworth, Kinsley and Fitzwilliam.
It became clear to Ferret quite quickly about the dubious and serious misuse of community finances by the Independent Councillors, who later became known as the “Cabal”.
Hemsworth Ferret was “born” and began to post on Facebook on 26 July 2021, exposing the numerous misdemeanours of Mr Jim Kenyon’s Independent controlled Hemsworth Town Council.
A pseudonym of “The Ferret” was chosen due to the very serious implications to themselves and to any others involved who have contributed on any level to this necessary crusade.
This was proven correct when Ferret began to receive threats and even death threats were sent through various channels. Malicious material began being circulated on Facebook by the various “Badgers” and leaflets throughout the Community about anyone they thought was the Ferret.
Multi-millionaire, Jean Eccles even offered a reward of £5000 to stop the Ferret.
Our Community had been duped into electing these people whose main intention was not to represent us or deliver their promised manifesto pledges but to promote and progress their own hidden agendas.
Over the next few weeks, Ferret intends to revisit some of the “highlights” or should that be “lowlights” of the Cabal and Ferret’s accomplishments over the last year.
Ferret must also take this opportunity to say a big thankyou to everyone involved with Team Ferret, please keep sending in all of your messages via the usual channels.
Finally, where will Ferret be celebration his/her/it’s birthday?
Well unfortunately due to having short legs, not in the function room at the Lakeside Café Bar, if only there was a way to get up those stairs….
