There are three candidates standing in the election for a Town Councillor in the West Ward at Hemsworth Town Council:

Colpus Mark Andrew

Mark has stood on a number of occasions previously. In his last attempt, he was a member of Mr Jim Kenyon’s Independent Party. Prior to this he stood as a UKIP candidate and this time Mr Colpus has not identified his political allegiance despite being a vocal supporter of Jim Kenyon since 2008.

Moran Donna

Donna is the Labour Party candidate and this is her first time standing as a candidate.

Morton Lyn

Lyn is the Green Party candidate. She has stood as a candidate a number of times before as a member of the Green Party.

Ferret urges everyone in the West Ward of Hemsworth to go out and vote.

  1. Wonder why Mr colpus has not declared his status this time? Then again I think we all know nuff said

  2. Think both of the ladies are decent candidates, shame both can’t get on this time. Hopefully Mr Colpus isn’t elected to nod more Kenyon nonsense through, while his failing junta is in power.

  3. Wishing both ladies luck in the up coming election.
People need to remember it was only in May 2021 that the male candidate was proudly saying he was part of the Hemsworth community forum for the 12 years in his campaign literature.

  4. HTC need a brake applying to their out of control driverless rollercoaster and both the female candidates would do that I doubt that of the fellow he’s part and parcel of the team that set the train off all he’ll do is help them continue with their insanity. It’s a real pitty both lasses couldn’t be elected both are credible decent folk
