Much has been posted about Independent Hemsworth Town Council, the financial miss management and their lack of any planning for spending on upkeep and capital projects across all sites in our community.
On a recent visit to Hemsworth Waterpark, Ferret was stunned to see this mismanagement has now manifested itself to the once beautiful floral displays, Oopsy daisy.
Ferret finds is strange that no one at Independent Hemsworth Town Council had the foresight to either scatter some seeds or purchase some bedding plants for these planters, both of which could have been done for very little financial outlay.
Ferret then thought that maybe they don’t have the expertise on the staff to do this anymore, following the mass exodus since they took control in May 2019?
Even if the “General Manager” Sam Knowles isn’t a keen gardener, Ferret was then reminded that a number of Independent Councillors do have a reputation for “green fingers”, surely they could have helped out…
