Alan Draper – Clerk, Hemsworth Town Council has now notified Wakefield Council that Shane Folletti has resigned.
Now is the time for ten people who are registered to vote in the South Ward of Hemsworth to request an election takes place.
If this does not happen Hemsworth Town Council can co-opt someone of their choosing to fill the vacancy.
